2008 Associate Club Championship Roster

ASSOCIATE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP – Local and Sectional Qualifying
Entries Close:   May 14, 2008.   Local Qualifying Dates: May 28 OR June 4, 2008.  Sectional Qualifying Dates: July 21 OR 22, 2008.  Sectional Qualifying Site: Poppy Ridge GC.  Championship Dates: August 25-26, 2008.  Championship Site: Spyglass Hill GC & Poppy Hills GC.  Entry Code:  #3083.2.  Limit: One four-person team per club.  Entry Fee: $240 per team for local qualifying.  84 qualifying teams pay an additional $240 for one day of sectional qualifying.  No additional fee for championship.

ELIGIBILITY:  NCGA Associate Clubs ONLY.  Multi-members can only represent one club.    No players under 18 years of age.  A numeric index listed on the May 1 index report not to exceed 36.4 (men) or 40.4 (women).  NOTE:  SIRS - One four-person team per area is eligible for sectional qualifying.
FORMAT:  Best two balls of four.  Local Qualifying - 18 holes (June 1 index).  84 teams advance to sectional qualifying.  Sectional Qualifying - 18 holes (July 1 index).  30 teams advance to the championship.  Championship - 36 holes, 18 holes per day (August 1 index).  Play will be 90% (men) and 95% (women) of the course handicap using a maximum index of 18.4 for calculation.  All players with indexes of 18.5 and above are eligible but must play to a maximum index of 18.4.
SUBSTITUTIONS:  Allowed prior to local and sectional qualifying only.  All substitutions must be made by the tournament chairman or a club official, not the player.  A player withdrawing needs to contact his club and then the official will contact the NCGA with their substitute.  Note:  All substitutions MUST be made at least one week prior to local or sectional qualifying.
